Full-cycle delivery

Product development for iGaming

Argon takes product outcomes end to end: discovery, design, build, test, launch and the weeks after launch that decide whether it worked. We have integrated the aggregators, wired the payment providers, shipped the bonus engines and sat through the launches, so the estimate you get reflects the work the category actually involves.

01

Where teams get stuck

The roadmap keeps slipping a quarter at a time
Integration surprises, compliance requirements discovered late and a team split across support and delivery. The plan was never wrong so much as never whole.
Generalist agencies underestimate iGaming
A wallet, a bonus engine and a game-round reconciliation job look like ordinary features on a proposal. They are where projects in this category actually go over.
Launch exposed everything at once
Load, payment edge cases, bonus abuse and support volume all arrive on the same evening. Platforms that were never hardened for it spend their first month firefighting.

iGaming consideration

Every promotional mechanic will be probed within days of launch. Wagering enforcement, eligibility, velocity limits and device or payment linking belong in the first build, not the second.

02

What we do

Discovery and shaping
A short, intense phase that turns an ambition into a scoped release one: user journeys, integration inventory, compliance requirements, architecture sketch and a sized plan.
Platform build
Player accounts, wallet and ledger, bonus and promotion engine, lobby and merchandising, cashier, back office and reporting. Built as services with clean contracts.
Integrations
Game aggregators and studios, payment providers and alternatives, KYC and AML vendors, CRM and marketing platforms, affiliate and attribution systems, data warehouses.
Live operations tooling
The back office your teams live in: player search and support actions, bonus issuance, payment approvals, risk queues, responsible gaming controls and the audit trail behind all of it.
Launch management
Load testing against a modelled peak, provider certification and sandbox sign-off, cutover plan, war room, and a rollback that has been rehearsed.
Post-launch iteration
Funnel and cohort analysis, conversion work on registration and cashier, performance tuning, and a release cadence your team can sustain after we step back.

03

What you receive

  • Working, deployed software at the end of every increment, not at the end of the project
  • Test automation and CI/CD delivered alongside the features, not promised for later
  • Architecture, integration and operational documentation your team can maintain
  • Load and resilience test results against an agreed peak profile
  • Launch runbook, rollback plan and a supported hypercare period
  • Full ownership of code, infrastructure and accounts, yours from the first commit

04

How the work runs

01

Discovery workshop

Two to five days with your stakeholders. Outcome is a scoped release one, a sized plan and the risk list, not a proposal document.

02

Foundations

Environments, pipelines, observability, design system and the first vertical slice through the whole stack, so integration risk surfaces in week two.

03

Delivery increments

Two-week cycles with a working demo, a deployed environment and a re-forecast at the end of each one.

04

Hardening

Load, security, edge cases, provider certification, reconciliation checks and the operational runbooks. Never optional, never compressed.

05

Launch

Phased where possible, monitored closely, with agreed go and no-go criteria and a rollback that has been tested.

06

Hypercare and handover

Close support through the first weeks, then a structured handover to your team or an agreed ongoing arrangement.

05

Why iGaming differs

Bonus abuse is a design requirement
Every promotional mechanic will be probed within days of launch. Wagering enforcement, eligibility, velocity limits and device or payment linking belong in the first build, not the second.
Payments need routes, not a provider
Acceptance rates vary by market, method and time of day. The cashier has to support routing, retries and fallbacks, and the ledger has to stay correct while that happens.
Support and compliance teams are users too
A platform is only as good as the back office. If an agent cannot resolve a payment query or a compliance officer cannot evidence a decision, the product is unfinished.

Questions

Fixed price or time and materials?

Fixed price per increment, with the first increment being discovery. That keeps commercial risk bounded for you without pretending a six-month scope can be fixed accurately on day one. We will not quote a fixed price for a scope neither side understands yet.

Can you build on our existing platform?

Yes, and most of our delivery work is extending platforms rather than replacing them. We start by learning your conventions and then follow them, because a module written in our house style inside your codebase is a liability we would be handing you.

How do you handle change mid-project?

Re-forecast at the end of every increment, with the cost and the schedule consequence written down before the change is accepted. Scope changes, and pretending otherwise is how projects end in dispute.

What happens at the end?

Structured handover: documentation, a walkthrough, a support period, and your team able to run without us. If you prefer us to continue, that becomes an augmented team engagement with a notice period.
