Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data Argon Technology Group (company number C 104964), the data controller, collects through this website, why we collect it and what we do with it. It covers this website only. Where we process personal data on behalf of a client as part of an engagement, that processing is governed by the data processing agreement in the contract with that client, not by this notice.

What we collect

If you submit the enquiry form we collect the name, company, email address, enquiry category and message you provide. If you email us directly we hold that correspondence. We do not ask for, and do not want, special category data or any client production data through this website.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry and, where it leads to a commercial conversation, to carry out pre-contract discussions. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.

We do not add enquiries to a marketing list. We do not sell, rent or share your details with third parties for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twelve months. Correspondence related to an engagement is retained for the duration of that engagement and for seven years afterwards, in line with commercial record-keeping obligations.

Who processes it

The website is hosted by Vercel and delivered through Cloudflare. Enquiry emails are transmitted using SendGrid and received in our own mailboxes. Each of these providers processes data on our instructions under their own data processing terms. A current list of sub-processors is available on request.

Where it is processed

We are established in Malta, so processing is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation and the Maltese Data Protection Act. Our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers maintain, including standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics, we will ask for consent first and update this notice before doing so.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our processing. Write to sales@argontechnologygroup.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to your national data protection authority, or to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta.
