QA Automation Engineer
Build the safety net around platforms where a defect costs money rather than embarrassment.

The work
Testing here starts at the wallet, not the landing page. You will design risk-based strategies, automate the paths that carry money and compliance obligations, and put a release gate in place that people actually trust.
- Design test strategy from risk: what is automated, what stays exploratory, what gates a release
- Build and maintain end-to-end, API and contract suites that run on every pull request
- Deliberately provoke duplicate callbacks, concurrent writes and timeouts mid-transaction, and assert the outcome
- Run performance and soak testing against modelled peaks, and tie findings to the component that broke
- Treat flaky tests as defects with an owner, never as something to retry into silence

What we need from you
- Strong automation experience with Playwright, Cypress or equivalent, in a real CI pipeline
- API and contract testing, not only browser automation
- The judgement to argue against automating something
- Comfort reading application code well enough to know where the risk actually is
Useful, not required
- iGaming, payments or another domain with audited transactions
- Performance testing with k6 or similar
- Experience supporting a certification or audit process

Introduction
Thirty minutes with the person who would lead your work. Not a screening call with a recruiter who cannot answer your questions.

Technical conversation
Ninety minutes on real problems from our domain. No algorithm puzzles, no whiteboard theatre, no trick questions.

Paid exercise
Optional, four hours maximum, paid at your day rate. Only where a conversation genuinely cannot settle the question.

Offer
A decision within two working days of the final stage, with written feedback either way.
